The Floral Ambiance family has a growing history that dates back ten generations to the 1700's in Holland. Four brothers and their families immigrated to the California coast in 1967, settling in a small coastal town with an ideal environment for growing the finest flowers in the world year round. The Floral Ambiance family history in the United States began in 1971 with eight acres of carnations and chrysanthemums.
Over the years we diversified and expanded our crops to include cymbidium orchids, gerbera daisies, snapdragons, lilies and other floral crops.
Floral Ambiance is one of the largest growers in the United States of long-lasting exhibition-grade cymbidium orchids. Throughout the years the Floral Ambiance family has created and developed a perfect environment for our hydroponically grown cymbidium orchids. Floral Ambiance cymbidium orchid sprays provide exceptional value due to their beauty and long bloom life.
At Floral Ambiance we grow top quality gerberas using state-of-the art technology, the most up-to-date IPM (Integrated Pest Management) and disease control strategies. We use beneficial insects whenever possible to provide an environmentally friendly atmosphere for our flowers. Our production greenhouses are fully automated with computer-controlled environmental and irrigation systems. Our water is recycled to help achieve an earth friendly environment for our flowers. Every gerbera variety we grow has been thoroughly tested to ensure plant quality, hardiness, ability to produce high yields and resistance to common diseases and pests. We select only varieties with bright and intense flower colors. Floral Ambiance gerberas are enjoyed by millions of people nationwide every year.
Floral Ambiance state-of-the-art greenhouse construction provides an exceptional natural growing environment. Climate control is achieved by using passive ventilation, shade and heat retention curtains, horizontal air flow and hot water heating systems that circulate heat throughout the plant growing zone. Our commitment to greenhouse excellence provides consistent quality and lasting floral beauty and demonstrates the highest regard for our environment.
